TEN rounds in, eight to play, with the eight in the Southern Football League starting to take shape.

The usual heavyweights are there; Cove, Morphett Vale, Happy Valley, Reynella, Port Noarlunga and Brighton.

On results so far this season you can add improving Flagstaff Hill to the mix.

By my reckoning there's one spot left in the eight with Marion, Noarlunga, Morphettville Park, Christies Beach and even Aldinga with some sort of chance to grab the final berth.

So that leaves just the OSB Lions and Hackham in their own battle, Hackham trying to win a game for the season and the Lions attempting to recapture their early-season form.

But the flag is what any competition is all about.

So if I could find my good mate Bazz the bookie, these odds are what I think he should field for this years premiership.

Cove 18/10; Morphett Vale 25/10; Reynella 5/1; Brighton 6/1; Happy Valley 7/1; Port Noarlunga 20/1; Flagstaff Hill 40/1; others 100/1. There you go.

Thankfully we can't (legally) get a bet on. Might be just as well.
